Histology Technician Position Available
Job Posting: Histology Technician
Seeking a highly motivated Histology Technician to join our team at Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. located in Kingsport, TN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform basic histology procedures such as embedding, microtomy, and staining
- Perform basic histology manual special stain procedures
- Operate, use, and maintain specialized histology instrumentation
- Utilize pathology computer system to record and retrieve pathology data
- Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the company
Qualifications:
- Histology experience REQUIRED.
- Bachelor’s Level Degree in Science preferred
- HT/HLT(ASCP) registered/registry eligible
- Grossing Tech experience or meets grossing eligibility requirements preferred
This is a full-time day shift position Monday-Friday. Excellent benefits including 401(k), 401(k) matching, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, PTO.
